'Cause this marvellous song inspired the piece. The song is from 1980 as well, so it's fitting, right?

I thought this 20 years old Snape would be more than willing to wait for his Lily there, in a dusty street in Manchester. He wants to set things right with her, once and for all, so he drops by her place, at sunset, waiting for her...like this Romeo in the song! He wants to talk and explain himself, like he wasn't able to do after they had that argument, during fifth year at Hogwarts. He needs this confrontation! But she doesn't look like she's interested at all...She's already married to James, and Snape already joined the Death Eater by now! So he just stands there with this bitter-sweet smile on his lips, waitin' for forgiveness...something that would never happen.

Bawwwwwwwww....I'm so depressing!
